Strategic Plan 2014-2017
Catholic health care has played a vital role in Canada from the very beginning of this country. From very humble beginnings, and often under harsh conditions, religious women and men from many Catholic congregations have carried out this healing ministry for almost four hundred years.

Committed to the stewardship of this long history of care, the Governing Council of the Catholic Health Alliance of Canada felt compelled to hold a retreat in March 2014 to discuss the modern context in which Catholic health care now operates in Canada.

Out of that retreat has emerged the Alliance’s 2014-2017 Strategic Plan. The plan presents a strong national vision to sustain Catholic health care, and to position the ministry to continue its mission and vital role.
