Portée du projet de numérisation Un autre aspect du Projet de la Grande Histoire des hôpitaux catholiques au Canada consiste à créer un dossier informatisé de tous les livres et fascicules qui ont été publiés en l’honneur des hôpitaux catholiques et pour les écoles catholiques de soins infirmiers. Ces ouvrages historiques peuvent se présenter sous diverses formes:

Ce que vous pouvez faire pour aider
Connaissez-vous l’existence de livres, ouvrages ou documents de ce genre sur l’histoire d’hôpitaux catholiques ou écoles de soins infirmiers catholiques au Canada? Le Grand projet d’Histoire des hôpitaux catholiques du Canada est intéressé à obtenir tout fichier numérisé de tels documents.
Le format numérique qui sera utilisé pour le projet est le format PDF créé par Acrobat Distiller. Pour les ouvrages déjà imprimés, il suffit habituellement de numériser chacune de leurs pages.
Droits d’auteur – De nombreux ouvrages correspondant aux buts de ce projet ne sont pas protégés par des droits d’auteur et sont du domaine public. Toutefois, pour ceux qui le sont, les responsables du projet s’occuperont d’obtenir l’autorisation de transférer le document sur format numérique.
Comment nous faire parvenir les documents
Par courrier:
Les documents originaux seront numérisés et retournés promptement aux expéditeurs, à moins que ceux-ci nous indiquent que nous pouvons le conserver.Par courriel: jroche@bruyere.org
S’il vous est possible de numériser vous-mêmes les documents, nous serons heureux de les recevoir par fichiers PDF. Dans le cas des ouvrages protégés par des droits d’auteur, nous nous occuperons d’obtenir les autorisations voulues avant de nous en servir.
